moleskine brand and its official blog moleskinerie are dedicated to provide its users their mobile identity, that is why the users perceive the moleskine brand as an indispensable companion of their selfs.
as the philosophy of the brand states, moleskine conceives of aesthetics in broad terms: as culture, creative freedom, space and time for thought, imagination, and on the end, the most important item for this concept, emotion.
“moleskine notebooks tend to become the focus of attention, and are designed expressly to be kept and treasured. our attachment only grows over time, because a moleskine product is made out of thoughts and feelings of its owner” - moleskine brand.
this quote explains the concept of the logo which looks like two hands are hugging a moleskine notebook. it represents the love, attachment and the users inseparability with the brand and the notebook.
