‘inmateria’ explores the same material into two different states. an exploration achieved by uneven and harmonized angularity. as well as showing in present how an object will look in future after years of use. as the water sands a rock year by year during the erosion process, ‘inmateria’ handle is sanded by the hand on its functional parts.
it is a stylish lever door handle that plays with two ways of finishing the material surface by surface. each one looks like its usage requirement. refined and finished on the functional surfaces and rough and natural on the rest. the design gives a new dimension to the sense of touch while is used.
