The "identity cravat" is a customized accessory which can be combined with "uniform" suites and costumes. Wearing such an unique cravat accents the self-confidence of the wearer in a unobstrusive way.

The pattern of the cravat is based on a customized logo. To create the logo, the costumer will pass her/his name, date of birth and gender to HERMÈS (other kinds of informations are possible). Out of these informations a computer program will create a personal logo. The logo is then used to make the pattern-rapport. A unique cravate appears, which retains personal informations in an abstract way.
(The picture shown here is one example how the pattern can look like. The aesthetic is always the same, but the lines are always different - it depends on the costumers information.)

This kind of cravat will not be in stock. Every piece has to be produced on demand.
When the costumer is contacting HERMÈS to order an "identity cravat" he can also choose the base color of the cravate.
Certainly the "identity cravat" has it´s price and will not be delivered within one week - but the result is a very personal product with a immaterial value.
