the concept comes from the belief that when words or images are expressed on paper they come alive. the logo simply uses the image of notebooks forming an m shape for moleskine and turning into birds and flying away with the ideas in them. i used a hand written font to symbolize the handwritten nature of the notebooks. the whole logo is then displayed on a piece of paper as if it itself has been created in a notebook. the logo can be used without the paper backdrop and also the bird motif can be used alone as a separate icon.
