designer's own words:
What do teenagers want? Well, surly not what their parents do.
If grownups tell them to do their homework sitting at a desk – they'll do it on the floor. If mom tells them to sit with their friends on the carpet – she will eventually find them on the bed.
So we decided to design the one place that has it all. Our concept evolves from the teenager’s increasing need to shutter conventions and being unique.
'I bed' is a teenager micro-cosmos. It's the ultimate space for all indoor activities: lying and resting, watching TV, surfing the net; reading, studying or just sleeping. When friends come over, they are all invited into the round space.
Now, they can all hang around on the swinging bed, and talk about the next cool thing…
