Hot stuff by pär blanking from italy

After living in Italy a few years I’ve become a great lover of the Italian coffee. One thing I’ve noticed is that the small espresso gets cold very fast. Since I like to enjoy this delicious elixir of life during a longer time I designed this cup with increased ceramic volume. The cup and plate is thought to be heated before filling with coffee.

The cup fits well to the plate so that heat from the plate can be transmitted to the cup.

The cup when placed directly on a table has a rocking chair effect, giving it a funny appearance. This works since the cup has much more mass in it’s foot.

Material is raw ceramic partly covered with white glazing paint.
