designer's own words:

Flexible furniture. Combined coffee/working table for Teenagers.

As a teenager, you often live at home with your parents, confined to a small room, where all aspects of your private life have to take place. Later on, you will become a student
in a rented box-room or a shared dormitory.
Space is limited and has to be exploited at an optimum.
Teens want company, and preferably in their own rooms.
Have a cup of tea at the coffee table, studying together at the working table and no space for both.
This posse demands on furniture to be flexible,
and at the same time smart and functional.
High-Low is a modern and flexible table.
It works as a small, low coffee table, and it unfolds
to double the space and height, available for working or dining.

Tabletop in veneer (conceivably painted/lacquered in different colors).
Base construction in painted/lacquered steel.
Legs are fixable through mechanical/spring lock mechanism.
