haptical handle by marc lappé from germany

the haptical handle is due to a study project where the intention was a relation of use and repetition from common artifacts our enviroment. the basic form expresses its detail to the user in the haptic experience while using it. while forgetting the feel and touch of ordinary things in our daily life, the structure of the surface should remind us of our haptical sense. the focus is to reflect the complexity of our society through a haptical experience where we wouldnt expect it, like in opening a door.
through the rapid-prototyping method the 5 different door handles could get an aesthetic detail in its structure.
