Following the birth of the bourgeois culture and the advent of musical cultures such as rock 'n roll and hip hop, the creation of the teen consumable market has allowed teens to choose a variety of images to idolize, and in a few cases, become (the goth, the punk, the jock, etc.) With my design, "Halcyon Infinite", I aim to unify all clichés into complete flexibility.
The chair is made of two identical cushions of any customizable color or pattern, containing retractable parallel bars to serve a two purposes: to hold the cushions in place through slots on the base (not shown) and to become connectors for other chairs. Three chairs side-by-side forms the length of a twin size bed. When needed, the base of the chair also serves as a Japanese-style dining table which can also serve as a study table with storage space within the base while two people may be seated simultaneously. The cushions measure 64cm x 64cm x 18cm, while the base is 64cm x 64cm x 28cm. As a lounge, it dimensions are 92cm x 64cm x 82cm. The cushions are constructed out of inexpensive foam and cloth while the base is constructed with particle board with aluminum legs.
