through a process of sketching, designs were evaluated by their functionality and aesthetic principles. the knurled handle provides a tactile grip for the user whilst signalling the placement of the hand. the knurled detailing on the grip represents the primary gripping force of the fingers that fades outwards to the little finger. cast from brass, grep’s body connects to a standard spring cassette inside a 50mm rose. a grub screw fixes to an 8mm spindle through the underside of the handle. available in a range of finishes.
