Green Roof 2 aspires to make a next generation of Green Roofs, immitating natural landscapes totally. It does this by incorporating insulation inside a constructive building system and anticipating the more robust needs of these landscapes.
Green Roof 2 adheres to the principles of
“Cradle to Cradle” in 2 ways. First, by replacing sedum, a monocultural product, with the diversity of real nature. Second, Green Roof 2 can be re-used. Because the insulation is sealed inside, and because the system can be bolted together, the structural units of a given system can be completely recycled.
