Good Design (Rams + Matta Clark+Michelangelo)

Good Design (Rams + Matta Clark+Michelangelo) by Donald Daedalus from usa

designer's own words:

Working from an Actual G37 Sedan measurements, templates for the exclusion of certain parts of the Sedan will be created with a plastic adhesive. This template will be replicated and accompany an instruction manual whereby a third-party can execute the same covering. In this template there will be "windows" that focus the attention to parts of the G37 which conform to Dieter Rams' 10 Rule of good design:
Innovative
Makes a Product Useful
Aesthetic
Makes a Product Understandable
Unobtrusive
Honest
Long-Lasting
Thorough
Environmentally Friendly
As little as possible

This image shows a brief example of some components that would be accentuated (seat, engine, brakes). Additionally, those components that would not be visible would be printed on this template, effectively "looking through" the other parts of the car that exist between the viewer and object
