GO on by fernando lima from portugal
designer's own words:
In the development of the GOon handle has been taken into consideration a set of principles previously studied in ergonomics in order to have an exceptional conformity to the shape of the hand. So the handle has a set of sections of reasonable size to separate the fingertips of the palms of hands to get a good contact area and no points of high local pressure for the force of adhesion do not be inhibited by discomfort.
The handle was designed to have a continously shape, with a divergent direction of the axis direction of the door so that the user put the hand in a more natural position. The handle has a hole at its tip and a gentle ribbing that delimits two possible zones of differential treatment and reinforces the organic design devoid of sharp edges. The handle can be developed in casting and can get various combinations of materials. Here is a version one in matte chrome steel and exotic wood application (which is sandwiched by the inner attachment male-female) and a second version in matte stainless steel and polished chrome. The core is brass and secured by pin and bolt in the back of the court.
