Fruit Triangle

Fruit Triangle by carl pickard from uk

designer's own words:

A simple juxtaposition of themes and identity from the observation that apples are appearing so similar in shape and size they can be displayed with such order and symmetry that they can appear almost identical. With people’s perverse desire for uniformity and ‘standardisation’, it is no coincidence this is happening. However they do say that necessity is the mother of invention and I was felt necessary to bring balance to this equation with a nonsensical approach of a fruit bowl that isn’t a bowl. It does not even have a base. It merely positions the apples in position. This is a rolled extrusion plated silver or solid cast 925 stamped on the face. It holds 10 apples 5 red and five green.
