designer's own words:

this handle is made through the casting of brass material, with a mat chrome finish. the shape suggests a folded plane, thus the name "fold handle", and it intends to fit in the architecture that exhibits the origami- or folding planes- style. taking into consideration the human factors, the handle embraces a resting spot for the thumb and part of the palm of the hand. this design also considers that door handles must be germ - free, therefore the shape was conceived for an easy cleaning routine with no narrow angles where germs could hide. a subtle curve produces a better grip when turning the handle. the handle is attached to a complementary round rose.
