about details; all carefuly conceived to highlight Colombo excellence on design and performance. Materials and finishings; a sophisticated composition between gloss and matt, chrome and silver, differentiating user touch areas from structural ones.
part 2: components description;
the esthetical handle set is composed by a handle (1), which is the rotational part, the basement (2) and an extra outer thin ring (3).
the basement (2) itself, is composed by a plate and an additional half cylinder (welded into the plate). The esthetical function of this half cylinder is to create a visual disconection between base and handle when its operated to highlight mechanical and functional aspect of the handle.
for the same reasons, the recessed graphical cross icon allocated in the handle front part adding a semantic value (precision element ) and detail enrichment.
