Flower Bowl by eva_yapit from singapore
designer's own words:
The design draws from Matsuyama icons, abstracting the essence and elements from the Matsuyama Castle, the Dogo Onsen, local literary achievements and also, the FLOWER of Matsuyama - the Camellia. Inspired by the form of the Camellia flower in traditional origami form - a distinctly Japanese art - the Flower Bowl is made of earthenware material that acquires a quality of lightness. Through its function as a nimono-wan, an object of daily use, it will provide a hearty warmth and sense of home for its users.
