flo ascenti by nigel sylvester from usa
designer's own words:
flo-ascenti is constructed of aluminum or steel in a finish of mirror polish.
the lever is adjoined to the barrel by a medium constructed in carbon fiber or a metal in a textured finish which mimics that of carbon fiber. the detail image depicts a possible joinery between the lever and barrel via a medium.
the barrel features a 360 degree tone on tone line blocking which extends from and back to the medium via surface coloring on the barrel or by using a medium with a gasket end placed between two components of the barrel.
flo-ascenti is a mating of classic and modern aesthetics - allowing it to exist within either setting. powerful enough to possibly define a space and the energy of the occupant.
