Flo, concept
Corian presents a wide range of materials and techniques which can be applied to containers. I have made the most of this by creating a mix of a vase and a table, concept turning possible with non-porous materials. The seamless surface enhances the elegance of its curves. A thin bump prevents small object to fall in the vase part. The general shape is an ellipse. Exclusively available in glacier white colour, a contemporary illustration is printed on its surface.
This idea came up with an act : to give somebody flowers.
With Flo comes up a story : who has given these flowers? why?...
