first chair by luciano dell'orefice from switzerland
designer's own words:
As it is the first time I challenge myself on a chair project, I decided to have a very humble approach on it . This kind of product needs a lot of maturity and experience to be developped in a exemplary way. So my choice is to go for a moderated intervention.
My work is set around a little research on some "today" simple chair typology. It's made out of full beech wood sections,1 piece plywood, red lacquered, and glued (maybe screws necessary). Angled elements, and cut edges give the chair its character.
This last is the result at my scale thinking about furniture in a simple way. Something which sounds like yesterday, not yet like tommorow, but maybe
just like today.
