this work first started with a study of the measurements of the hand. from those measurement i can up with serval generic handles. from those handles, i decided on a concept of geometry meeting the needs of organic forms the best way possible. the results were comfortable and intriguing. i used wood to build the models that i made. i filled the grain and finished it to have the appearance of metal. the whole process helped me look at the world and notice that many of the products we use are symmetrical and geometrically based.
