The title of this textile design – Expanse – refers to the way in which its pattern was created. An assortment of renowned motifs were selected from many timeless patterns by Hermès, and digitally transformed into a medley of three-dimensional objects. Once modeled, these iconographic forms were intentionally dispersed, using a software script, so that they present themselves as a dynamic, non-repeating pattern.
