Evolution of the knob. by samantha syiek from usa

my door handle is the evolved door knob. i thought the knob should grow and appendage that was deigned to fit the human hand. it is not in our nature to make a claw with our hands to grasp a door knob but it is natural to grab something that looks natural. no where on the human body is there a straight line, so why do we force ourselves to grasp such unnatural things? this is why my handle is very curved and organic. i began designing by just looking at my hand and seeing the natural curve of the fingers as they gripped. i used wood and glue and a sander to achieve my shape.
