e.t.c.h. ' easy to clean ' house by arik aboud from israel
designer's own words:
a monolithic form that can be reproduced in communities and still maintain its individuality. the house is anchored to the ground by a static cube that transforms into a dynamic, bent grid spiral, ascending as an integral element in nature, towards the light above.
designed as a self contained environment, this easy to clean home utilizes the spiral as a system for collecting water that is purified and recycled back into the house for reuse .
the floor of the living space is treated as a fluid landscape that interacts with the up/down slope of the spiral to generate a very different, funky, new vision of cleaning, conservation, and hospitality .
