equotos

equotos by nigel sylvester from usa

designer's own words:

equotos is constructed of steel/aluminum components and a blackened steel “bone” which provides structural mounting for the lever surface as depicted in the detail image.
the steel structure and lever surface would possibly be bonded by weld or an alternate form of feasible joinery.
the leading section of the lever features a series of perforations which allow for the visual effect of breathing. the outermost row of perforations would see environmental light pass through.

though futuristic in design, equotos stems from classic characteristics of art nouveau which may allow for use beyond the ultra modern environment.

equotos is designed in a high polished steel finish but may be available in alternate metals, finishes and surface treatments including but not limited to;

brushed aluminum,
polished nickel,
brass,
gloss/matte black,
white,

unusual; lever sections in clear or pigmented lucite/acrylic fastened to blackened steel support structure on polished or blackened barrel
