Eight Brazilian Roses and some thorns for Masaoka Shiki: A Rose Omen

Eight Brazilian Roses and some thorns for Masaoka Shiki: A Rose Omen by PaulovonPoser from brazil

designer's own words:

The Rose is today the most global flower, which represents the center of the floral theme beyond the different cultures, nations and geography. It is a travelling flower. In its evolution path since its autochthones origins from the East, this species has been transformed by the human desire that has created hybrids, increasing the number of petals, and enhancing the variety of colors, shapes and scents. Today the rose can bloom in the Atlantic Forest and in the desert, and even in the space in an attempt to change its conditions to produce new fragrances without gravity.
Patterned in different materials, it has been updated and translated into poems, inspirations to artists, designers and lovers, and for me it is also a symbol of tolerance and diversity. Besides giving its name for the color that results from the mixture of red and white, the rose is also an alchemic symbol for regeneration and transformation; therefore it is connected to the dew, rain and cure.
