It's shape makes us imagine how a Samurai took a sharp traditional Japanese Katana sword and has removed with a very precise movement, parts from a regular cylindrical metallic door handle, resulting in a crisp, elementary and sculptural yet functional door handle.

The lever has a circular shape section close to the rose and it is transforming itself in a stretched hexagonal shape at the other end of the door handle.

As probably many of us know, the hexagon is the most often encountered shape created by nature,
starting with the snowflakes and finishing with the honeycombs structure.

The human hand is naturally made to grab hexagonal objects easier then other shaped forms.
