Eco Fency handle by claudia morgado de sousa from spain

nowadays, aesthetics, functionality and sustainability should all be combined as features of a design, and for this reason we have designed this door handle with the intention of focusing upon these three qualities. its style is ironic, in that we exaggerate classical forms and mix them with modern materials. these materials are given a washed tone through the use of brushed metal and no added paint. the metal used is a superplastic material patented in Mexico called Zinalco, which is a zinc, aluminium and copper alloy. this gives the metal the strength of steel, while the lightweight aluminium is cheaper than brass and can also be easily recycled.
