Ebon Handle

Ebon Handle by andres luer from italy

designer's own words:

Ebon is free from the preconceived notions and bias’ that traditionally govern the world of industrial design; technological exasperation.
With a distinct purity of design and introduction of a new material, Ebon encompasses the components of a handle in a single fluid form.
The continuity and simplicity of its lines provide a soothing and appealing form that enables Ebon to interact in perfect harmony with other surrounding shapes and objects.
Ebon’s shape embodies the merging of ergonomics with simplicity of manufacturing. This is enabled through the manufacturing process and the belief of working in teams and without links. It is a continuous form without inserts.
The ergonomics are reinforced by the slanted face which ensures a firm grip.
The thickness of 3 millimetres remains constant until merging with the stem of the handle, inside which the axle housing is permanently fixed.
