when reaching for the door handle some people catch the very end of the handle lever, but most people grip it close to the rotation axis. i think the position of the thumb finger is important in this case. it gives a feel of control when rotating the lever and moving the door, especially when closing one. i played with positioning of all fingers and angle of the hand in those few seconds of use. the shape itself is intended to appear solid and firm but elegant, rose should appear as one with the handle. material intended for the handle is metal (steel or aluminum, polished or slightly brushed).
