door handle AIR by ina-marie von mohl from germany
designer's own words:
Inspired by an airplane wing, this door handle achieves both lightness and ergonomic comfort. Frontally the form is defined by a puristic linearity that subordinates itself to the architecture. From the top it looks voluminous and invites the hand to use it. The surface is distinguished by the contrast of smooth and sharp radii, which help fulfill the four ergonomic principles of grasping: 1. thumb stop 2. index finger rest 3. support for the palm 4. volume.
The door handle is intended to be manufactured out of Aluminium, Stainless steel and colored Aluminium.
