a handle insprired by the clutch – a mechanical device which supplies the transmission of power (usually motion) from one component to another.
clutch plates in this design for a doorhandel provide for three stands:
- neutral stand, when not being used
- locked stand, where the door can be locked by placing the handle in the locked position.
- the motion of the handle when being used.

similar to the momentum model this design is inspired by the clutch.

3. gesture
the form of this doorhandle gestures a handshake as it refers to a sleave. the organic form derives from a try-out made with 3mm thick felt.
