The basic concept behind this series of jewellery is giving second life to abandoned objects as well as adding more value to the particular object.

The objects that I have used are The timing chain of a motorcycle, Grandfather’s watch mechanism, and rusty hex nuts with combination with few other materials like leather, metal wires etc. The goal was to give it a function as well as to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the object.

The objects are very very cost effective and really fast to make. The link between each element of the object is carried out in a way that it should become one .My approach was to keep the jewellery minimalistic.

CONTEXT:

This particular series is for men who believe in ‘Definitely Male’ attitude and belongs to the category of steampunk jewellery.Being not very expenssive, it can be for any class of person. However, The target user of the jewellery was men between the age of 20 to 28.
