DEATHSCOPE by PA Studio from iran

The proposal is based on the concept of creating a new spatial organization for deathcare; Deathscope. This idea is achieved by a multi-level cemetery.

The graveyard is located in the basement and is roofed by the water. The water acts as an observatory for people to observe alive world from graveyard and to observe dead world from top level.

All the dead buried in the graveyard have a wooden plaque that is floated on the water. These moving plaques create a live space in the cemetery.

People can access basement graveyard through stairs. They also can walk on the boardwalk and observe the wooden plaques and graveyard through water observatory.
