Curious Times by Julie Conrad from luxembourg
designer's own words:
Curious times is a wall clock that does not show the time - except you really need/want to know it.
Time exists when you are looking at it. At other moment you can completely forget about it. Sometimes it goes faster or slower.... and when you are working it can put a lot of pressure on you when you see the time ticking away.
We are so used to having clocks everywhere - on walls, on clocktowers, on our wrist and in our computers, tablets and smartphones - that we look at it without really looking.
Curious Times is different.
If you do not know it, you are going to wonder what it is. A clock without time?
An everyday object totally deprived of it’s main purpose.
As soon as your curiosity drives you towards it to take a closer look the time reveals itself.
The body of the clock is made from formed metal with cut-out numbers.
