designer's own words:

teenage furniture, "cube"

between 12 - 18 is a time of changes, development, growth, doubt, experience and finding out about your person. therefore the furniture should be something that can adapt to different szenarios of life. with 12 you may be more interested in playing around, but with 16 you have your first visits of the other gender overnight.
also it is a period where you have the need to express yourself and show who you are in the world. some want to be a hiphopper, other go to become a skater or a cheerleader.

the idea of "cube" is to give flexible base elements, who are easy to install when you change the appartement but also give you the freedom to decide for a personal direction and adapt to your needs.

four cubes in a corner and a belt around.
with the four corners, the bed is flexible in size, you just always need a rost and a matress. with 12 your matress size may be 90 x 180 but later you need 140 x 220 cm. this bed grows with you.
it is higher as the average bed. you can play with it and build a cave under yout bed or put your stuff there when you do not feel like cleaning the room. later it is just different as the adult height and it is closer to heaven to dream the dreams of youth. it is also comfortable when you have your friends over to hang out on the bed, not just only be seated on chairs.
it is possible to sell the elements singularyliy, so the teenager has the choice of different designs.
very easy to built up. when you have the desire to change your room or when you move out, it is a bed than can go with you.. or at least elements.

3 choices of material:
bamboo wood board + khaki line belt = safari, natural look

grey mdf board + red leather belt = punk, wave, underground

cherry wood + colorful nylon belt = modern, fresh
