cristl by norman hadler from germany
designer's own words:
this door handle is for brave people with an individual character and a many-faceted personality. the form looks like it was cut out of a raw piece of metal. the breaking down of the basic form in many faces reduces the angularity and makes it more handy in an ergonomic way. the polished facets mirrors the surrounding architecture and its individuality. the detailed positioning of the faces creates an easiness on the one hand and strength on the other hand.
cristl is designed for public projects. it shows to advantage especially in museums, modern halls and representative rooms. the basic form and the rose is made of brass in a pressure casting process and finished in chrome. a casting tool for the right as well as the left door handle has to be produced. the handles can be adjusted by using an allen head screw on the bottom side.
