designer's own words:

this door handle was designed thinking on the comfort and welfare of the user. its slight diagonal and the curve that goes with it, suggest a subtle hand gesture to grab the handle. the lock is located above the handle to improve usability and ergonomics of the product, being more accessible and user perspective. as its name suggests, this door handle is 100% made on copper, giving a perfect use for public spaces because of the antibacterial properties of its material, considering safety and healthcare. the selected material is copper dhp c12200 99,98% cu. the material is naturally linked to use and continuous contact with the hand. antibacterial properties make a perfect functional relationship between copper and the handle, matching with an aesthetic expression completed with the color of the material in its pure state.
