The Contact chair is a teenager’s controlled environment, an escape from tiring, intrusive family space and a tool for staying connected to friends outside of home. Bluetooth wirelessly connects the teenager to the audio signals from his/her mobile phone, music, PC, television or games via a precise microphone, powerful high/mid range speakers in the headrest and a bass reflex transducer in the base. Noise canceling technology allows the teenager privacy from the unwelcome sounds of nattering parents, the needy family dog, and siblings’ jelly-encrusted sidekicks.
