Comfortable and Safe Mobile Home "Overly sophisticated mobile homes are often difficult to construct and have high follow-up maintenance costs. To address this problem, this streamlined modular home takes advantage of a standardized design to make construction fast and inexpensive. Most mobile homes that are provided to people for temporary use are made from makeshift building materials, constructed with suboptimal methods, and provide for rather uncomfortable accommodations. Therefore, it is worth investigating the possibility of creating a new kind of mobile home that is simple to construct and inexpensive, and offers high levels of accommodations.

According to surveys conducted in Taiwan and abroad, mobile homes have experienced a rapid rise in adoption in the recreation industry. However, the primary use case of mobile homes in Taiwan is for providing disaster victims a place to live and for agricultural or industrial use cases. Therefore, a ""comfortable and safe mobile home"" is a very feasible and practical application that can combine modern technology with better system design.
In this research, we mainly focused on three areas. The first was exploring the feasibility of open system solutions and system integration. The second was investigating mobile home interior and exterior spaces. The third was the actual construction of a model of our mobile home design. In terms of an open system solution and system integration, we gained an understanding of what an open systems are and the relationships of systems and their interfaces. We explored many types of light-duty construction materials and system components that could increase construction flexibility, which would make construction a simpler process. Then, we laid out a configuration plan for the spatial elements, and researched the spatial arrangements of different types of mobile homes, both standalone variants and cluster variants. Finally, by constructing our own version of a mobile home, we were able to verify the two previously mentioned research results related to construction. And, we were able to use these results as the basis for improving the construction of mobile homes."
