cobra watch

cobra watch by adam weaver from australia

designer's own words:

i wanted to keep the unique style and elegance of the current range of breil watches, however taking it to the future. my design does this, with smooth surfaces and clean lines; this design reflects what breil is, stylish and modern.
this design is essentially made from both stainless steel and polymers. the main watch body incorporating part of the arm band is made from satin finish stainless steel (this can be finished in other texture also, like brushed finished, polished etc.). the remainder of the band is made from a polymer for its flexibility to fit on all size wrists.
the flexible arm band simply wraps around the wrist and hooks into position under the watch face. this hook, integrated on the underside of the watch face hooks into the desired hole of the band. it fits flush with the face side of the band which touches the skin on the wrist for comfort. it’s quick and easy to put on. i like the clip arrangement, as it’s like putting on a cuff link on your shirt.
due to the way the band fits onto the watch, it allowed me to move the watch dial which is usually on the side of all watches, to the bottom (shown in the images). this results in a clean symmetrical watch style, also removes any irritations of the dial rubbing on your skin, which always happens to me.
i have decided to use a polymer for most of the band, as it protects the stainless steel and the watch from scratching on surfaces like desks etc, or any other surface typically the watch band rests on while wearing.
an alternative colour combination can be achieved be changing the polymer band colour (like a leather texture and colour) and the watch face. (refer to the images submitted)
all in all i am very proud of this design, so please pick mine so i can get this made to wear? ☺
thank you for considering my design submission.
