Retail banking is evolving at an accelerated pace and economic realities are challenging services of traditional Bank Branches. Our proposal investigates the possibility of providing Club Membership to transform the traditional Bank Branch into a dynamic user-friendly Clubhouse.

Banks produce vast amounts of information, which often is used internally to make sound banking decisions. We propose this model is extended to make data available to all Customers through Club Membership. In so doing, the Bank actively helps Customers make intelligent financial decisions; from household budgets to large investment portfolios. A forum would be developed to make data transparent and valuable between Club Members who choose to exchange information and services.

The Clubhouse would provide three distinct spaces:

1. Convenience Store: An extension to ATM’s, it could include a shop and Information Centre where Members can purchase train tickets or send emails for instance.

2. Advice Centre: Members receive face-to-face financial advice, which includes a regular financial check-up using a personalized ‘360 Degree’ data pool,

3. Club Lounge: Members have a business friendly environment in which to work, meet clients or socialize. A dedicated Care Team would provide a wide range of activities and banking services that aim to improve business and networking opportunities.
