the idea of clouds-like handles was there when I started to mold the plasticine on the door handle trying to aim to produce soft-like product, ergonomic and white. white or light shade was my first vision of handle. there is needed white handle, white doors, white, bright…structural object. I saw my model looked like a cloud on the door, but funny shape. reminded me that children see handles as a small clouds far away over their heads. needed to reshape it so there is still some clasy look and order with a sense. so I pressed the paper, after I cut the paper and after several mock-ups there was a soft like structure in two options. to produce it in white – I d opt for molded plastic or for metal in forms. metal would suite it well too, as long I was mockuping I was imagining it more in metal. – ´the look´ of a slab of metal sheet cca5mm as it was folded into the cloud. the edges are meant to be grounded and smooth.
