designer's own words:

"Eco-effective" dining table

In order to provide a sustainable domestic lifestyle, this piece of furniture has been designed considering the CRADLE TO CRADLE* agenda.

Its injection-molded table legs and its extruded table top can turn into "biological nutrients", since they are made up of ARBOFORM** plant-based biodegradable thermoplastic.

Suited for daily life, the table top comes with a beech veneer that can also flow back into the "biological cycle".

The legs are assembled to the top via metal threaded inserts and screws that can turn to profit as "technical nutrients".

Inspired by Jean PROUVE's work from the 1950's, the table's simple geometry targets a saving of material and rigidity.
