designer's own words:

How can a space, with the help of a piece of furniture, mirror a personality in development? How can a piece of furniture stimulate the teenager to think space in a new way? How can the creativity be stimulated in a non-complicated and non-expensive way?
The concept behind chamfered puzzle was to create a light piece of furniture that can be assembled in different ways and moreover be functional on its own as a freestanding object and as a part in a larger continuous system. A piece of furniture that can easily be assembled and moved without help, whenever one feels like it.
Chamfered puzzle is an additive system which consists of 6 modules; 3 kinds of over and under parts, 2 kinds of side parts and 1 rubber list. The over- and under-pieces are made of reinforced glass fiber polystyrene. The list is made from rubber. Chamfered puzzle is assembled by shoving the sides into the over and under parts and clicking the rubber lists in the marked holes. The materials give the following advantages:

• Multifunctionality, one can sit on it and make homework by it, put books on, or put the hi-fi equipment in it
• A series of coloring schemes
• Lightness
• Modern expression
