CELO

CELO by george bosnas from greece

designer's own words:

The basic idea came from the consideration of the primitives, such as the motion of the hand, including the thumb and the fingers. An important factor was the asymmetry of the two handles (inside and outside) and the geometric harmony with the door’s contact. Another particular factor was the economy of manufacture using only one mold.
Celo is a handle that belongs to a new way of thinking. It has a different outside and inside, when in fact are the same. The morphological simplicity of parts and the whole construction makes it fitting at any door. The fact that the parts detach, means directly the smaller package, and the user’s direct contact during the assembling.
