‘casper’ is a hollow take on the typical solid door handle inspired by lacey light-looking gothic structures. the design, a twisted steel wireframe, follows the overall shape and curve of that of an archetypical handle in order to retain the memory of the traditional object while it seems to physically dissolve. this new transparent quality makes the handle visually lighter and elegant yet sturdy which is juxtaposition to the utilitarian heavy appearance that they usually follow.
