designer's own words:
Collecting "along-the-way" is a remote concept in our consumer's
history.
...so we assume that the Shopping cart is a very handy transport
device, studied over a
century of consumer's
history.
Why changing the shape of this fabulous device?
...no way.
By adding small features, the well-known shopping cart could be
transformed in a mobile
home, either a
lounge chair or a dry walking facility for the rainy days...
We propose 2 simple accesories to the Cart meaning great improvement to
this life style
(provided by city's
goverment) .
a - shelter (marquise+shelter+cocoon)
b - strecher (chair+strecher+bed)
By asking supermarkets etc. to sponsor a cart or two. The base for this shelter in a cart is given. In return the company in question can have their logo inprinted on the marquise.
The cart becomes a rolling cocoon. It's impact in the city scape is
soft and kind, like the
baby's trolley. Space
claim is temporary, mobile remains the key-word.
