Cannoli Table Lamp by frankfriedman from usa
designer's own words:
The "Cannoli Table Lamp" gets its inspiration from the Italian dessert of the same name. The light engine is a rolled 140mm LG flexible square OLED panel. The outside of the OLED is laminated to its carrier; a sheet of mylar and a connector which makes up the shell. When the fixture is turned on, the inside becomes filled with a soft, uniform, and visually comfortable glowing light.
Cannoli is made from five snap together components making this fixture easy to assemble. Every connection doubles as a swivel joint. The simplicity of each component and its assembly takes its cues from the flexible OLED panel's minimal appearance and elegant function. The bowl shaped cast base grounds the unit with weight and texture. The raised on/off button hovers above the fill line of the tray which stores paper clips, rubber bands, keys, etc. in its recess.
