designer's own words:
Functional handle characterized by simple shapes.
Starting from the cylindrical shape of any common handle's base, this project's initial idea was to create a whole handle from the repetition of circular shapes placed each next to the other, in a decreasing diameter progression.
The result is a handle formed by a series of cylinders held together by a metallic perimeter, these cylinders are at the same time the object's main body and decorative feature. Also the cylinders' thickness is characterized by a decreasing progression, providing a sense of “dynamism” to the handle.
Manufactured from from extruded aluminium, this object goes through a number of mechanical and superficial processes, available in many colour versions.
